YOUR PRIVACY MATTERS

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how MYNE collects, uses, stores and shares personal information when you use our website, mobile application and related services.

Operator: MYNE is currently operated by CleverChamp Private Limited (“we”, “us” or “our”).

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use MYNE, we may collect the following information that you provide to us:

  • Name to create and identify your account.
  • Email address for account access, service communications and support.
  • Mobile number for account-related communication and verification where enabled.
  • College name to associate your account with your campus community.
  • Date of birth for age-related eligibility and account settings.
  • Profile photo if you choose to upload one for your profile.

When you submit forms on our website, we may also receive information you enter in those forms, such as your name, email or WhatsApp/mobile contact, college, year of study and social profile details, where those fields are present.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to create and manage accounts, provide MYNE features, associate users with their campus, support quizzes and community features, administer rewards and challenges, respond to enquiries, maintain safety, troubleshoot issues and improve our services. We may also use it to send important service or account communications.

3. Legal basis and consent

Where required by applicable law, we will seek consent or rely on another lawful basis before processing personal information. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; this will not affect processing that took place before withdrawal or processing permitted on another lawful basis.

4. How information is shared

We do not sell personal information. We may share information only as reasonably necessary with service providers who help us operate MYNE (such as hosting, infrastructure, analytics, communications or form-processing providers), when you choose to share information through community features, to comply with law or valid legal process, to protect users and our services, or in connection with a business reorganisation subject to appropriate safeguards.

Website registration and campus ambassador form submissions may be transmitted through Google Apps Script and stored in Google Sheets managed by the MYNE team. Access to those records should be limited to authorised personnel. The mobile application may use additional infrastructure or third-party SDKs; their handling of data should be described in the relevant app-store disclosures and their own privacy terms.

5. Public and campus features

If MYNE offers leaderboards, community profiles or other social features, some information you choose to display may be visible to other users. Please avoid posting information you do not want other users to see. We will explain relevant visibility settings in the app where applicable.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the services, maintain legitimate business and security records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Retention periods may vary by data type and purpose. When information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to delete it or de-identify it, subject to legal requirements and legitimate backup/security processes.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No online service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Access to personal information should be restricted to people and providers who need it for authorised purposes.

8. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, ask questions about our processing, or withdraw consent where applicable. You can contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

9. Account and data deletion

You may request deletion of your MYNE account and associated personal information by contacting us at the email address below, using any account-deletion option made available in the app, or through the account deletion mechanism linked from our app listing where applicable. We will process verified requests within the time required by applicable law. Some information may be retained where legally required or necessary for legitimate security, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution purposes; we will explain this where applicable.

10. Children’s privacy

MYNE is designed primarily for college students. If you believe a child has provided personal information in circumstances where collection was not appropriate, please contact us so we can review the request and take appropriate action.

11. International processing

Our service providers may process or store information in locations outside your state or country. Where applicable, we take steps intended to ensure that such processing is handled in accordance with relevant data-protection requirements.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as MYNE evolves or legal requirements change. We will publish the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service where appropriate.
